With 100+ flights in the last 3 years, the thinking behind Gate359 is grounded in journeys he has actually made.
His experience goes far beyond airports. Ashley has lived abroad, experienced different cultures and travelled through very different environments, from the heat of the Sahara Desert to the cold of Iceland, as well as destinations including South Korea, China and Cambodia. Those journeys taught him that travelling well is not about packing more. It is about knowing what genuinely earns its place in your bag.
Long before Gate359 existed, friends and family regularly came to Ashley before their holidays asking what they should pack, what they needed for the flight and which travel essentials were actually worth buying. Hearing the same questions again and again made him realise there was a gap for one central place that combined practical travel insight with carefully selected products.
Gate359 is his answer to that gap. The aim is to build a trusted travel hub for first-time flyers and experienced travellers alike, sharing useful products and honest insight shaped by real experience. Ashley’s rule is simple: if something does not solve a genuine travel problem or make the journey easier to prepare for, it should not earn a place in the Gate359 range.
